Now that your property is listed in the National Register of Historical Places, you can post a sign. For $40.00 you can have one made. Mail a check to Malone Revitalization Foundation and enclose the name of the first owner of your home and the date it was built (found on your deed). Pay on the home page.

Destination Development & Marketing Program

"Through the Franklin County Destination Development & Marketing Program (DDMP), the Franklin County Local Development Corporation (FCLDEC) provides grants to municipalities, non-profit organizations and businesses to undertake or support projects and activities that increase recreational, tourism or cultural visits to the county or to enhance the visitor experience. The Program is funded by FCLDC and Franklin County occupancy tax revenues." MRF received grant funding for the cultural study for Malone's Residential Historic District.

Preserve New York Grant

Destination Development & Marketing Program

The Preserve New York Grant program from the Preservation League of NYS,

strategically invests in the rehabilitation of historic places, leverages significant additional resources (cash and in-kind), and protects properties at the local, state, and national level through landmark designations. These grants help the League’s growing constituency conserve, protect, and use their cultural resources. The grants are an important catalyst in realizing community preservation goals. MRF received Preserve New York funding for the cultural study for Malone's Residential Historic District.
